friday: yum dinner at Queen's Hideaway in GreenPoint
saturday: 6 mile hike by New Paltz then yum dinner
sunday: 3 mile bike ride in Park Slope
sunday night: the rodent/roach incident
today: woke up early, couldn't fall back asleep and arrived at work before 9. it's been a long day.

Thursday, November 17
willie nelson show last night was great. instead of his typical 2.5 - 3 hr. sets he played 1.5 and it was all great. he wrote a new song while recovering from some ailments that starts with "Too many pain pills; too much pot, trying to do things that I cannot, I ain't Superman." He has such a good vibe and voice and mind and the crowd was good too. People on our floor (loge) were sitting for most of the show which was strange. I realized it's the 7th time I've seen him play. This time, I took Jeff and I was very happy to have him absorb the genius. (Next on my list for us is Bob Dylan). "Angel Flying too Close to the Ground" got to me again, reminding me of dad. Today I am in music withdrawal.

Wednesday, November 16
mom taught me how to crochet last night. it's fast and simple as long as i have her there to remind me what all the stitches are. i'm making a scarf. knitting is much more fancy and high-class but it takes 4-5 times as long.

Monday, November 14
is it possible the phases of the moon affect me this greatly? with mercury retrograde until dec. 3rd i have to continue yoga and most likely join a gym to keep it all balanced and under control. -- 6 months came and went w/out fanfare. this will be rectified.

Wednesday, November 9
i have a lot of things i need to sell on eBay. a lot of room is taken by items i've never used or never will use again. i've never sold something online and am vaguelly apprehensive about it. even so, there's a lot that just must go:
-- atari 2600 w/ many game cartridges (this will be a tough one to part with)
-- minolta dimage xt digital camera
-- hardly used boxing gloves
-- hand-knit gorgeous baby blanket/quilt
-- small video camera (once i find it)
-- books
