i love flowers. i love their Beauty and smell and fragile strength. if i won the lottery tonight i would have fresh bouquets every week. i think back to dad and how unprepared he was for this country. then after he died mom and i remained even more clueless. hindsight is 20/20 and can be incredibly cruel. i think it's time for some ice cream.

Wednesday, September 17
this morning mom and i had to put tobyDog to sleep. he had pneumonia and after one night at the vet's he took a turn for the worse. i regret he spent one night alone. i held him as he got the final shot and mom held his head. it was so peaceful and easy and quick. i wish they offered the same treatment to humans. 16 years old.
